Photo: The old Arts Education Building at the Guadalupe Cultural Center

Now there is a brand-new spanking building, but it's empty. The day I dropped in to visit the classes in this building with Mary Jessie Garza, there was only one class in session, and the mariachi student enrollment was half of what it was last year.

If you really want to speak to the persons ultimately responsible for all of this "miedra" you need to attend the next GCAC board of directors' meeting on Th. March 23rd at 6pm at the Guadalupe. If we don't speak up, we are complicit in this injustice and affront to our community! There must be accountability! Oust the real "rasquache", El Presidente Bret!
